Hidden in plain sight on the chest of this shirt is a message written in the Adinkra alphabet — a 3,000 year old West African visual language that most people will never recognise.

The symbol at the centre of this design is AYA — the fern. In Adinkra culture the fern represents endurance and resourcefulness. It grows in the harshest conditions, in the places where nothing else can survive. It doesn't wait for perfect conditions. It grows anyway. The encoded text beneath the design translates to one thing: Whole at every altitude — built through the climb.

The White variant may appear off-white due to fabric properties. Dark speckles on the Natural variant are expected and part of the fabric character.
